Summary:
The Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of a corporation. This role includes developing financial strategies, ensuring financial compliance, preparing financial reports, and analyzing business performance. The Corporate Finance Manager plays a key role in shaping the company’s financial health by making recommendations for financial improvements and risk mitigation, as well as providing support for key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decisions and monitor company performance.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.
- Identify financial risks and ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to guide executive decisions on investments, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
- Support investor relations and provide financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, including senior management and investors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or similar roles, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting.
- CFA, CPA, CMA, or similar finance-related certifications are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and financial modeling techniques.
- Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Advanced skills in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel), as well as financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
