Tradetronix Global Business Consultancy is a startup in its early ideation phase, working from a small apartment as we lay the groundwork for an ambitious future. Our founder, a B.Tech graduate in Naval Architecture, also manages a proprietary firm in Port Blair, where he supplies essential goods for ship repair and construction. Role Overview:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Tradetronix will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence across the company’s global functions. The COO will be responsible for translating the CEO’s strategic vision into actionable, results-oriented plans, ensuring seamless execution across all industries served by Tradetronix. This includes direct operational oversight of projects across all verticals, ensuring that every client engagement meets Tradetronix’s high standards of efficiency and value. This role demands a visionary leader with strong operational, financial, and cross-industry expertise to foster a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Strategy and Leadership:
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement operational strategies that align with Tradetronix’s mission and growth targets.
  • Direct and refine operational processes, policies, and SOPs to improve efficiency, scalability, and standardization across all client engagements and industry verticals.
  • Ensure consistent and efficient execution of business operations across all functions, adjusting strategies as market and client needs evolve.
  • Operational Oversight of Projects Across All Industries:
  • Lead operational execution for all client projects, spanning shipping, agriculture, real estate, SaaS, logistics, asset management, and more.
  • Partner with project teams and senior consultants to ensure resources are allocated efficiently, timelines are met, and client objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor project outcomes across industries, using insights to drive continuous improvements and innovations in Tradetronix’s operational model.
  • Global Operations and Expansion:
  • Oversee global operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with regional market needs.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in both existing and new markets, developing entry and expansion strategies that strengthen Tradetronix’s global presence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support expansion into new industry verticals and geographic regions.
  • Financial and Resource Management:
  • Work closely with the CFO to manage financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting, ensuring cost-effective, financially viable operations.
  • Optimize resource allocation across departments, enhancing operational efficiency and ROI.
  • Drive cost-control initiatives, monitoring capital expenditures to ensure strategic use of resources.
  • Client and Partner Relations:
  • Strengthen client relationships by ensuring high standards of service and long-term value creation, especially in high-growth industries like private equity and logistics.
  • Actively engage in key client meetings, offering insights to enhance operational efficiency and project delivery.
  • Support the CEO in building partnerships and alliances that enhance Tradetronix’s service offerings and competitive positioning.
  • Team Leadership and Culture Building:
  • Lead, mentor, and empower senior managers and team leaders, fostering a high-performance culture built on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent, cultivating an inclusive, collaborative work environment aligned with company values.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration to optimize operational outcomes.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Identify potential risks to the organization’s operational effectiveness and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Oversee adherence to all relevant regulations and standards, ensuring that all operational activities meet compliance requirements.
  • Implement health, safety, and security protocols to protect employees, assets, and the company’s reputation.

Qualifications and Skills:Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.

**Work Experience:**

  • Minimum of 12+ years in a senior operations role, with at least 5 years in a COO or equivalent position in a stratergic consulting, MNC, Digital asset management, or global operations-focused organization.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling global operations with a demonstrated focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Experience working with companies at various growth stages across multiple industries, with a strong understanding of global market dynamics.

  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and resource management, with a focus on cost control and ROI.
